Keenan Woods of Poway Honored at CLU Banquet

Keenan Woods of Poway is one of several students who were honored for their achievements recently at California Lutheran University's 41st Annual Honors Day Banquet.

Woods, a senior chemistry major, was announced as one of 11 new members of the Scholastic Honor Society, the highest academic honor at CLU. Upper division students qualify for the society by maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.9 on a 4.0 scale. No more than 5 percent of the students from each graduating class are invited to participate.

CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks, with centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills for graduate courses and its Adult Degree Evening Program. With an enrollment of 4,100 students, CLU offers 37 undergraduate majors and graduate programs within the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Management and Graduate School of Education. Doctoral degrees in educational leadership, higher education leadership and clinical psychology are also offered.
