Lindsay Bowden Elected to CLU Government

Lindsay Bowden of Maple Valley will be the executive recorder of the Associated Students of California Lutheran University for the 2012-2013 year.

Students elected Bowden as well as the four other members of the Executive Cabinet. The Executive Cabinet plans and implements activities and programs designed to educate and entertain students and serve the community.

Bowden is a sophomore majoring in communication. Bowden is a Presidential Host and plays on CLU's women's water polo team. She received a Superior All-Academic Award from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches in 2011 for keeping her GPA above 3.4.

CLU is a selective university located in Thousand Oaks, with centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills for graduate courses and its Adult Degree Evening Program. With an enrollment of 4,100 students, CLU offers 37 undergraduate majors and graduate programs within the College of Arts and Sciences, School of Management and Graduate School of Education.
