Toccoa Kahovec named to CLU Women's Cross Country All-Decade Team

Toccoa Kahovec of Santa Clarita has been named to the California Lutheran University Women's Cross Country 2000-2009 All-Decade Team.

Kahovec played during 2008 to present. After an impressive freshman season finishing 17th at the SCIAC Championship meet and 39th at the West Region Championships, Kahovec finished ninth at the conference finals as a sophomore. She became the first Regal since 2005 to earn All-SCIAC First Team honors. Kahovec backed that result up with an 18th at the West Region Championships producing the best finish for a Regal harrier at that meet in the decade.

CLU is a selective university in Thousand Oaks, Calif. CLU's intercollegiate athletic teams – comprised of more than 360 student athletes --compete in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III level. CLU sports teams and individuals have been extremely successful, collecting more than 60 SCIAC titles since joining the league in 1991. The Kingsmen and Regals squads have produced numerous all-American selections for their play on the field and their academic achievements in the classroom.
