Toccoa Kahovec named to CLU Women's Track and Field All-Decade Team

Toccoa Kahovec of Santa Clarita has been named to the California Lutheran University Women's Track and Field 2000-2009 All-Decade Team.

Kahovec played during 2009 to present. As a sophomore last season Kahovec became a SCIAC Champion, taking first place in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. She added a runner-up finish in the 1,500-meters. As a freshman she took fourth in the 1,500-meters and seventh in the 800-meters. Kahovec owns the second best time in CLU history in the 5,000-meters, fourth best in the 3,000-meters and 1,500-meters and fifth fastest in the 800-meters.

CLU is a selective university in Thousand Oaks, Calif. CLU's intercollegiate athletic teams – comprised of more than 360 student athletes --compete in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) at the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III level. CLU sports teams and individuals have been extremely successful, collecting more than 60 SCIAC titles since joining the league in 1991. The Kingsmen and Regals squads have produced numerous all-American selections for their play on the field and their academic achievements in the classroom.
